White Hart Farm Barn, Near Glastonbury
Amidst the ancient waterways of the Somerset Levels not far from Glastonbury, lies White Hart Barn, an English Heritage oak-framed 'holiday cottage', recently built on the site of the old linhay adjacent to White Hart Farm. The farm was originally the White Hart Inn, Godney's village alehouse and dates back to the 17th century.
The Barn is available as a holiday let. It is centrally heated and cosy all year round; it is spacious, light and airy in summer and yet warm and snug in winter. It is decorated throughout in a mix of French/British antiques and contemporary classics and also houses various original art work.
There are two bedrooms - one double upstairs with views to the garden, one twin downstairs with French doors leading to a terrace beyond. A spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living area also enjoys French doors leading to the private, enclosed garden. There is also space on the landing to set up a camp bed/cot.
